We admitted our 107th Veteran today. That is the most we've ever had inhouse and means we are maxed out with a waiting list. I guess the VA goal of ending homelessness among veterans is not quite there.
However if you get all the vets in places like JH and use the HUD definition of homelessness then the problem is solved!
What a joke!!
It's another cold day here today and the forecast is for snow tonight. This stuff is getting a bit old.

JH is not HOUSING; it's residents ARE STILL HOMELESS!
If JH was "HOUSING" the veterans would have tenant's rights, leases in their names, PRIVACY, could slam their LOCKING doors on JH case workers and not be thrown out!
